My goal is to teach and encourage each music student to master piano playing at a level he or she is capable of and to inspire a love for music!

Experience

I have taught piano for 30+ years. I am familiar with teaching children with some learning disabilities, such as autism, and ADHD, and FASD. I am also a church musician and play organ. Singing is an important part of learning to play the piano, especially for young beginners, so I encourage that too. I encourage ensembles in my studio--duets, trios, and two piano works. Students enjoy the fun these experiences offer.
