The Silbernik Music Academy offers outstanding in-person and online guitar, piano & ukulele lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, from 8 years old to adults.

All lessons are tailored to each individual students pace and musical taste.

Irwin majored in piano and instrumental music education at DePaul University and the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.

Irwin received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Illinois in 1974 and his Master's degree in Music Education a year later, in 1975.

Irwin has taught instrumental music in both the private and public arenas.

Currently, Irwin teaches at the Silbernik Music Academy, which he founded in 2014.
