I am a most patient, experienced teacher who stresses note reading, effective fingering patterns, rhythm and counting, and musical expression. My methods enable the pupil to become an independent learner, expressing his/her love of the piano.

I have taught for many years in public school and privately at my home studio. My degrees are BA in Music and Masters in Music Education from Rutgers U. I have had coursework at Montclair and Keane Universities. I study chamber music in summer sessions at Bennington and Wellesley colleges where I participate in ensemble performances and take coaching from world class pianists. In my teaching, I emphasize duet and duo piano performance for my pupils at my annual recitals.
